Secant to Tangent Applet

This applet is designed to build the student's visual intuition about the line tangent to a curve at a point being the limit of the secant lines through that point.  The x-coordinate of the point, x_0 is controlled by a slider, as is delx, the distance to x_1.  To change functions, right-click (control-click for Mac users) on the function and select "redefine" from the pop up menu.  Similarly, the viewing window can be modified by right-clicking on empty space in the drawing pad.  From the pop up menu for the drawing pad, select properties.
