Functions and Derivatives

This applet is designed let you look at a function and its first and second derivatives at the same time.

The boxes below allow you to control the base function and the viewing window.  The point X0 can be dragged, allowing you to evaluate the function and its derivatives at a point.  Some intersting examples are given.

It should be noted that the derivative is computation of the derivative is not restricted to the domain of the original function.
